MHA is the nodal agency for Maintenance of internal security and center-state relations.

• CAPFs: managing BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NSG.
• Border Management: CIBMS and smart fencing.
• Disaster Management: Nodal authority (NDMA).

• CCTNS: Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems.
• Cyber-Crime: managing the I4C (Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre).
