  • Of 765 sanctioned bridges, 254 remained.
RCPLWEA Status (launched 2016)
  • Improves connectivity in 44 LWE-affected districts across 9 states (Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh).
  • Total scheme outlay: ₹11,725 crore; of 10,231 km sanctioned road length (₹9,822 crore outlay), 4,490 km and 105 bridges had been completed by this point.
PMGSY-III Status (launched 2019 — separate/ongoing scheme)
  • Targets consolidation of 1,25,000 km road length by March 2025 (see Section 3 above for the 2026 continuation update); as of this release, 72,000 km sanctioned and 17,750 km completed.
Green/New Construction Technology
  • Over 1 lakh km taken up using green/new construction technology, of which 61,000+ km completed.
  • Uttar Pradesh sanctioned 1,255 km using Full Depth Reclamation Technology, yielding cost/time savings and a lower carbon footprint (see Section 4 above, PMGSY-IV, for later adoption of Full Depth Reclamation among other technologies).
